Hi, glad to have you here. My name is Kathy Powell. I'm an outdoor adventure guide, storyteller, graphic designer and word writer (that list long enough?) based in Steamboat Springs, CO. My hope is to make the outdoor industry a more equitable place for everyone. I enjoy pushing people beyond what they think they can achieve and what they can actually accomplish through meditation practices in outdoor spaces.

I am all about print, production, and photo editing. An expert on black clothing, the dark art of coffee, ​and cycling into head winds. A lover of the great outdoors and lime La Croix. I have found myself in 36 states, 14 countries and on 4 continents. I have been guiding in Yellowstone since 2021 and when I’m not there you can find me chasing powder, moving in the mountains, feeling the rhythm of rivers, enjoying good conversations and losing cell phone reception.
